1. Can you explain why the Church says the Holy Eucharist is at the ‘source, center and summit’ of our life as Catholics?
2. How would you explain the Real Presence of the Holy Eucharist to these two people: a. someone totally outside the Christian tradition/wholly secular. b. A devout, Bible believing Protestant.
3. Do you have a favorite Eucharistic miracle? If yes, which one? Why?
4. What is your pre-communion preparation like? (For ex: going to confession on Saturday, an act of perfect Contrition at Mass, etc…in other words, how do you, personally, prepare to receive Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ)?
5. What is your routine at Eucharistic Adoration? Do you—as the famous French peasant said—just sit there and ‘I look at Him, He at me.’ Do you have certain devotions, or intentions, you do/ bring forth? Do you pray the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet? The Stations of the Cross? The Divine Praises?
6. Bishop Robert Barron has spoken about the need for a Eucharistic Revival. What one piece of advice would you offer towards this larger project?
